So it's been roughly 5 months or so since I decided to put this account and all of my voice acting accounts on hold, whether that was via deletion or inactivity. It was a decision that tore at me and wasn't made lightly. But life changes quickly and violently. When I made the post announcing my retirement from voice acting I wasn't in a good space, both mentally and or living wise.

After being burned by too many projects, with the last one being the anvil that broke the camels back.

A lot of bad news hitting me around that time, personal life getting extremely busy, and even my own living space being thrown into disarray where I couldn't record anything in peace with things seeming like they would only go further in that direction. But as I said, life comes by fast.

One of the biggest deterrence from continuing voice acting was the inability to record. The situations around that one have cleared up due to unforeseen circumstances. With the miraculous recovery of my ability to scream the most ungodly and obscene words put to script being back on the field. I've been slowly gearing back up to rejoin the voice acting game. Sadly however, I feel and believe that any momentum and networking I had gained over my original time within the community has vanished. But I guess I can look at it positively as a fresh start.

I have definitely been missing the fun I had recording lines at nearly midnight to any random project that would let me spill my vocal chords over WIFI. Recently I got a promotion at my job, which came with more responsibility, more freedom, and more money of course. But I still find that I am missing some form of fulfillment which I feel only creative endeavors can really satisfy. So take this as a shaky promise of things to come. I am hoping to make this year a year of releases from this weirdo on the internet. And not just from voice acting either. Right before I made what I had thought of as my final post I had joined a musical group and restarted my own musical writings. One of which is showing extreme promises and will hopefully have an album out before Summer if things go smoothly. On a different note.

I have also been looking through my old half baked video ideas that I planned to do for youtube and still have a huge itch to do nearly half of them. Nothing I think will be ground breaking. But I had a ton of fun making the Tony Hawk video, especially the opening intro and I just wanna do more stuff like that. Youtube videos are definitely a bit more uncertain due to how time consuming they are compared to everything else. But who knows, I never like to underestimate and let things die. As is clear from this post.

I guess in short, I am going to be trying to record a new voice demo soon and try to attract as many eyes to myself and profile to maybe be one of the many suckers out there that get into the industry.

Here is too the future.
